Family Lifeline Baskets of Cheer - Donation Drive

As the holiday season is approaches. so is the time for Family Lifeline to start planning our annual Friendly Baskets of Cheer event!

Over ten years ago, Family Lifeline initiated a holiday tradition of organizing volunteers to create and deliver baskets to seniors and persons with disabilities experiencing loneliness and isolation in our community. These baskets contain everything from tasty treats and non-perishable food items to small gifts that are both thoughtful and practical. The baskets brighten the lives of everyone who receives them, and community members experience our Family Lifeline mission of bringing hope directly into the homes of those we serve!

AABE Virginia will be supporting this wonderful organization by collecting donations from members.  To ensure that we receive all items in time for our volunteers to create the baskets, we are requesting members to provide donated items by November 20, 2022.
